View of K.L. Tower, KLSE office, KLCC

I was in a tall building. I was on 25th floor.

Sometime in the afternoon. Lucky for me, the whole day was sunny. If it start to rain I won't be able to photo this and those below in many colors.

Try to photo it in horizontal. As the KL tower is slanting to the centre of the photo. This mean I am at a lower level compare to the height of KL Tower.

This is what KLSE looks from the top. Those cars down there really looks like ants lining up.

Later in the evening. The sky is darker.

After half an hour from the previous photo.

Those view from the top is really captivating. I almost forgot to took photos from 25th floor. As I was so immersed in the view. I was considered lucky as I was carrying my digicam in my small backpack else I miss chance to do this. So always carry you camera with you, will never know when opportunities arrive.

A sculpture call Keris

I was there and saw the sunset behind Kota Raya. It striked me there was something beside Menara Maybank. So... Keris is a sculpture in many pose..






I was there waiting for my wife to leave for home.

Cloudy, raining around Bukit Bintang

I was in Low Yat, bought two things after doing price checked in Sungai Wang and Plaza Low Yat. Wanted to leave the premise but the sky is cloudy, a sign it is going to cry.

Putting the situation in sephia color, an option in the digicam. As in color the contrast is not good. As walks around K.L. you can get a glimpse of K.L. Tower. So upon seeing the K.L. Tower is disappearing behind the grey cloud, "Aiya going to rain.. how to leave this place..." as I don't have my horse with me.

Then the rain started pouring down from smaller drop to very big drop. Then I was in Coffee Bean, since I can't go anywhere. You see the rain out there.

Went out there to take this scene. It was really heavy rain.

Actually I got my drinks before taking the two photos above. Crazy huh? And I was alone. Heavy rain really bring down the temperature of the atmosphere. Heavy also give many inconvenience to city people. And I was in the city, it was inconvenience to me cause I can't go to my next destination and it makes me spend more money.

California Pizza Kitchen

Was there with my wife on Tuesday, 14th, February, 2006. Indirectly celebrating Valentine's Day. Don't want to crowd dinner, so lunch is the option.

Outside view, while waiting for our orders.

We were early, if I recalled only three tables were occupied.

Use as much as you can on the food. Two plates and two set of fork and knife. There were four sets initially.

The drinks arrived first. Due to dry throat, took a few sips. That lemon was to be put into the tea.. I didn't know till my wife told me, "Put the lemon in the tea la." Because I asked, "Why this ice lemon tea got no lemon taste?".. hehehe.. silly me..

Starter and main dish have not arrived. And not much guess today.

A bread for starter, to go with tomato..

We waited for quite sometime for this fettucini. Before this main dish arrived, more and more people were appearing. We have to ask for secons time in order to get this. Almost gave up and wanted to lunch else where.

Overall the food is great. This place is famous for it's pizza. Didn't took pizza because, we think we can't finished it. There were more choices compare to Pizza Hut or Shakey Pizza or even Domino's. Actually I have been to this place a few times.. try it out if you have not.

Sundanese food for dinner

In KLCC dinner at House of Sundanese Food..

The sambal in a mini stone bowl. This came with kerupuk. Then the kerupuk is rejected. But the sambal was left on the table. This sambal was freshly made. Took half of it, would have taken everything if not for its too spicy.

Ikan Nila Goreng, Terong Goreng Sambal.

These food are Indonesian food, I have tasted it in Jakarta. Especially the ikan goreng, but in Jakarta the ikan goreng will be Gurame, where in this restaurant the fish is not available. Cumi bakar is BBQ squid, the one in Jakarta taste better. Overall the food in these restaurant is fantastic. Been there a few times.

Along Jalan Raja Chulan

As I was walking along Jalan Raja Chulan to Menara Maybank I saw this..

If I was not opposite side of the road I guess I will not noticed how the advertisment captivated me. It seems to gel into the green at its back. And the guy stares did follows me for a while. Seems to give me a warning not to stare at them.. I guess in real life is the same.. hehehe..


Nearer to Menara Maybank is this old houses along the Jalan Raja Chulan.. There are still human in it for one of the house. A stall opened at one end of this block of houses owned by the person living in that house. And at the other end of the block of houses is a car wash.. These houses must be costing RM million.. If I own one of this.. imagine what I can do.. hmmm..

Lunch In Maredo's Argentina SteakHouse

On of the fine day, I notice there was a set lunch for RM24++ in this particular restaurant. I discover this on the day I went to KLCC to buy present for my wife.
So I went there with a colleague. RM24++ started with..

Salad from salad bar, you can take as much as you want.


This is the amount I have taken. Nah I won't be able to take more cause I know I can't finished it. Even if I wanted to I can't stacked it high cause there weren't any veges in stick form.


While waiting for the main course, I took a snap of the bar. Actually, I am quite worried about taking photos in restaurants. B'cos I am not sure if whether they allow me to those photos. I always try to take and wait for them to tell me off.


Here is the main course, steak medium rare. Ain't the decoration nice? It taste juicy and soft. This is what I liked about the way the beef is cooked. I didn't managed to finish the fries. I was about the slice the steak.. oops photo it first.. hehehe..

You see the cow in black and read? It is a steak house. Actually I wanted to take my lunch there because I saw the interior was quite interesting. And I was amazed at how the place was designed. From the outside I will never know the place was having a glass roof. The afternoon sun shined through the glass roof and colored the interior beautifully. The place have air condition plus the fans to spread the cool around. And they do have a pub there too. Did you notice an old cash register?

Starhill CNY

StarHill next to KL Plaza. So went over there since it is just next building.
Below an arch with, I think are pheonixs all over the arch.

Behind the arch were the tents for items on sale. Before this photo was taken, most of the tents were opened. Chinese New Year decoration, artificial flowers, real flowers or plants, feng shui item, pendants, things made from stones and so on..

Lanterns were hangs among the branches of trees form the the main entrance to the rear entrance.

Here is the main entrance. From far I can't figure out the design on the sliding door. When the doors opened the pattern sort of disappeared. On close look a lot fishes be it small or big.

When I was in this is what my camera can do. Other areas are a bit on the dark. So me having disadvantage with my dig cam. Red banners hanging in mid air.

On my way out, I was back at the main entrance. Two big pillar consists of bamboo. Red carpet.. hmm.. felt as if I was an important man walking into Starhill.. hehehe..

Close look at the pattern on the glass wall. Can you make a gold fish out of it?

Actually I forgot about StarHill and KL Plaza when I went hunting for scenery on CNY. I was at Sungai Wang a few times in a week and my memory is not fuzzy logic. I happened to realize about it when I was looking for Purple Cane promotion.. KA BISS!! my neuron was clashing.. Alamak.. lupa dengan StarHill dan KL Plaza...

KL Plaza CNY

Took a stroll to KL Plaza to check out the decoration for Chinese New Year. Entrance of KL Plaza..

Some of the flowers are real some are fakes. As usual on weekdays this place is quiet. Else I won't be able to get a clean shot.



It looks like I am in a Garden without lake and grass. The way KL Plaza was build, it is hard to snap in the angle I want. There sure to be those big grey square pillar blocking my view. What a waste to photo shooting. I wanted to take a top view of the whole decoration, but there is no one place or corner I can do that.

This place is really dim. Want to romance, this is one place you can't do it but to feel it.. hehehe..
