The un-open box, it is made of wood. The finishing is glossy, gave the feel of high quality. But this top half of the box does not aligned with the bottom half. It is on purpose so that the box can be opened?
In side the box, a manual in chinese and a wooden pin is provided. The wooden pin is to adjust the date. My surprise is, this is provided in a China Made watch but not in a Swiss Made watch that I purchased for my wife few years back. This shows the manufacturer of Seagull is particular. Definitely makes me look highly on this watch.
There goes the button to adjust the date. This is where the wodden pin is used.
The back of the watch is a see-through, where the rotor is displayed with other gears. The model of the watch is printed on the glass. Four screws are used to hold the back cover. This is my first time seeing this way of locking the back cover on a automatic watch.
On the crown, there is a letter "S" lightly embosed. The leather straps are hold by screws on both sides.
On the dial, arabic numeral is used. It is black and flat, it seems to be placed on the dial surface. The dial surface have little pyramids as pattern. Retrograde date, power reserve and a flywheel. I have been eyeing on this watch for some time. At last I have it with me. And the best part, it is presented to me.

Wow, this is a very old brand. Many year ago, that time I was still a "kampong boy", my sister was using this brand, but it was a camera, not a watch.

Seagull produce one of the finest watches around. I admire the beaute. Where can I buy it in Malaysia?
Can't say I am giving out a good news. There is a shop call Hang Tai at Bangsar Village. The shop on sells Seagull Tourbillon model.
I got this one in Hong Kong.
Hang Thai watch main branch is in PJ SS2 near the BHP/Police Station, same row with Starbuck and Yu Yan San. Hang Thai Watch is the only Seagull dealer in Malaysia. Contact: Uncle Wing 0193212143.
Seagull is famous for it's Tourbillon series. It also have double tourbillon. It was shown in the Basel show before.
Furthermore, just to point out the mistake of golfer, this Seagull watch is not the same company with the Seagull camera, they are totally different owner.
It is an old watch brand from 1950's.
Fortunately, I had made one style wooden watch box for sea gull watch.
I'm proud of that.
